About me
I am a qualified and accredited psychotherapist, registered with The UK Council for Psychotherapy (UKCP). I hold a diploma in Transpersonal Integrative Psychotherapy from the Centre for Counselling and Psychotherapy Education (CCPE).
I completed the four year diploma in 2014; it is accredited by both UKCP and The British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP), the two main bodies that set standards for psychotherapy and counselling training and practice in the UK.
Additional qualifications and experience include:
- 2021 Attachment-informed EMDR part one
- 2020 Flash Technique (basic and advanced), an adjunct to EMDR
- Between 2016 and 2019, I trained in levels 1-3 in EMDR (eye movement desensitisation and reprocessing), an evidence-based therapy developed to treat trauma.
- 2016 Couples counselling at The Centre for Systemic Constellations
- 2012 Specialist training in loss, complicated grief and traumatic bereavement at Wandsworth Bereavement Service
- BSc (Hons) in psychology from the University of Roehampton in 2005
- Alternative therapist: reflexologist and reiki healer
- State Registered Nurse
I also undertake extensive continuing professional development (CPD). Recent topics include Tuning up your EMDR practice and the use of constellations in therapy.
In addition to private practice, I worked for four years as a telephone counsellor at Cic, an employee assistance provider. I have also worked at: - Help Counselling

Formerly in PR and medical communications, I have extensive first-hand experience of the pressures of the corporate world.
Other - I have been fully checked by the Disclosure and Barring Service (formerly Criminal Records Bureau)
- When necesssary, I receive clinical supervision from a qualified and accredited supervisor and specialist supervision from an EMDR consultant
- I participate in peer supervision each month
- I support myself with yoga, meditation and good nutrition
- I hold professional indemnity insurance
- I am a student of A Course in Miracles
